The Faberge 1842 Yellow Gold Petite Egg Pendant features the Faberge hallmark set in 18ct yellow gold on a 1.3mm trace chain. The chain measures 45-50cm in length, whilst the pendant measures 14.8mm in height, 9.8mm wide and 2.5mm in depth.
In keeping with Faberges penchant for surprise, a ruby, responsibly sourced from Gemfields Montepuez ruby mine in Mozambique, is hidden at the back of each earring. Rubies are a symbol of passion, prosperity and protection, making them the perfect secret addition to this striking new collection.
The 1842 collection pays homage to the year when Gustav Faberge opened his jewellery boutique in St. Petersburg. This fine jewellery collection is inspired by the gold jewellery and precious accessories Faberge began producing in the years before the first Imperial Egg was born. Each piece showcases Faberges iconic egg-shaped hallmark, in 18ct yellow gold.
